Doctors Prescribed Drugs for Chelsea’s Headache Pain – Made Things Worse

Chelsea suffered for a couple of years with no relief after the headache pain began in her Junior year of high school. Just imagine the prospect of having your whole life ahead of you, preparing to go to college, and being faced with the harsh reality that the headache pain would follow her no matter where she went.

She was of course very skeptical, as are many individuals who feel they have tried just about everything. She had doctors and specialists prescribing this drug and that, which eventually caused side effects that made things worse. These specialists found her no relief whatsoever with drugs. If doctors and specialists know so much about headache and migraine, then why are they using drugs to mask symptoms? That does NOTHING to correct the CAUSE.

“Hi, my name is Chelsea. I suffered with headaches for about 2 years. I got them at the end of my Junior year at high school and we couldn’t really figure out what it was from. I was treated for sinus infections — I had been to the hospital 3 times, Neurologists, a Chiropractor. They put me on about 6 or 7 prescription medications that actually gave me worse side effects, and after two years my grandmother saw an ad in the paper for [The Migraine Headache Relief Center of Pennsylvania].

They said they were doing things to treat migraines, and my mom brought it to me and at first I was very skeptical after going through so many different things and nothing was helping. I didn’t know if I wanted to do it just because of money issues and everything like that, and I didn’t want it to be a waste of time.

But, we came here and we talked to Dr. Harris, and he told us about everything and my mom was all for it and wanted to try it. So, we gave it a go and after 10 or 12 weeks of therapy I have been headache free.”
