Over time, and as a regular dental patient at Dr. Harris’s practice, Sally learned from her hygienist that there were alternative headache and migraine treatment protocols that were non-invasive, did not rely on drugs, and could treat the TMJ problems simultaneously. After much consideration and time she felt like she had nothing to lose and went through treatment with Dr. Harris.
TMJ pain is bad enough, but add migraines to the mix and you have a more serious problem. Sally’s quality of life was suffering as she coped with both. Her migraine meds didn’t do the job and she needed help badly.
TMD/TMJ Pain with debilitating migraine headache pain.
For Sally, this was one of the best things that could have happened for her. To say that she has improved is an understatement! Before MHRPA, the pain was unmanageable and medications only made things worse. Now, all the pain has been minimized and she states that it has been very much worth it to commit to treatment. She recommends anyone with similar problems to get diagnosed and explore the possibilities.
