She went to see a handful of doctors about her daily migraines once the pain was truly unbearable. She got a lot of advice and a lot of positive outlook, but not one of them said that they could make her feel better. In fact, they tempered their language by saying things like, “…but you’ll still have them” and “they won’t be as bad but there will still be pain”. She’d had enough suffering to last one lifetime, but there didn’t seem to be anywhere to go.

Natalie has come off her meds, and finally after her in-office treatments were done she is feeling better. Not a little better, a LOT better. She says herself that for the first time in her life she feels really good every day.
